Those marketing types can get carried away with themselves, though even Spike was interested to hear more about the "Interactive Urinal Communicator", otherwise known as the Wizmark, being billed as the next big thing in advertising.

Manly Council is using the devices to attract the attention of men while they patronise local bars. As well as the usual posters and coasters, male patrons of participating pubs will have the message shouted at them from the urinal. The Wizmark device is a deodorising urinal drain filter cover with pre-recorded audio and flashing lights. It is motion-activated and will deliver a pre-recorded message to a very captive and vulnerable audience. In Manly Council's case it will say: "Spiked drinks: it's beyond a joke, it's a crime. Report it."
